So what if the Roman Empire had 3x the ships, one of our Destroyers would be able to destroy the entire Roman Navy with out even deploying their weapons just run them over. Their ships where made out of wood, do you know what wood is, and I am not talking about what you wish you had in the morning.

The Chinese Air Force does not have the technology our Air Force or Navy/Marines air wings have, their planes are copies of old Soviet designs, and the SU 29 which might be an equal to early models of the F-15, is not equal to the newest versions and is not in the same league the F-22 Raptor. F-35 JSF. etc.

Marine being stupid grunts, Do You have a death wish. The Marines are the finest rapid reaction force in history. The only fighting force that is equal is the Royal Marines they only fall behind because they don't have some of the equipment, assault ships, their own air wing etc. With modern technology there are no Dumb Marines. But I have served with both US, and Royal Marines and I was honored to do so. We in the Navy know how good our Marines are and have known this for over 200 years.

and what you are forgetting, that the nuke looks exactly like any other missile that is deployed, they have become smaller and lighter, but just as powerfull.

Here we have Yet another idiot who does not have the facts, and yet is trying to dazzle us with his intellect. In my reference collection is a nifty Pentagon publication called "The Effects of Nuclear Weapons", published in 1964. It is the definitive reference for the effects of Nuclear Weapons of various types, yields, and detonation points. It even has a nice little circular slide rule from which you can calculate the effects of a bomb blast in your local area. There is a 1977 edition but it is not as complete as the original. I don't need to read a little I have studied this subject in detail. The above publication cost the Pentagon billions of dollars to compile and it is the last word. Your handle is a good one "Get a Clue" and you really need to get one.

Back in 1960 to 1962 I can remember having to stay home from school in Thermopolis, Wyoming because fallout from Soviet multi-megaton Thermo Nuclear blasts often fell outside in snow, and Rain storms. Which forced the shut down of the schools in the area. I particularly remember the 50 megaton blast in early 1962 which also coincided with yet another heavy snow storm. We had to stay home for a whole week because of high levels of cobalt isotopes falling with the snow. While they didn't talk about it at the time you can be sure there was Plutonium in these particles as well.

I lived through a period were we expected to be attacked by the USSR. I watched the "duck and Cover" films, We practiced with flash bulbs to simulate the flash from a detonation. I can remember the excited feeling I had when I watched the high altitude contrails of first The Convair B-36 Peacemaker, and later the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress. As they headed north to air bases in Alaska. I knew as a kid these contrails where the power of the United States on display. It was an exiting time for a 10 year old.
