Nice post for those of us who had troubles viewing certain video formats. Will this allow someone running linux to view this, for example,:
»Water Launch??? Can this be real?, not the post but the video.
Not that I care, but I feel if you're going to run linux, you should be able to see web content of any sort.

The example you posted is viewable in My SuSE 9.2 with the proper codecs installed. All in all I'd say 90% of web content is viewable under Linux. I have about 50% success with Quicktime files mainly because Apple keeps changing their bloody codecs. And of course anything that requires an Internet Exploder ActiveX Control is simply NOT going to work in Linux no way no how.

All in all I don't view the unplayable media files as a Linux failing but rather the fault of web designers with poor judgment when it comes to posting content. These idiots bought the whole M$ package and don't care at all when M$ violates accepted standards...
