| Good for them Might not make me Mr. Popular but good for HBO.. Peer to Peer and bittorent are a plague. If it were up to me theyd be shut down because not only do they spread piracy to the masses, it makes stuff that was meant to stay between select people or friends widely known. Dont get me wrong, copying a CD and giving it to a friend isnt wrong ( well it is).... BUt copying a cd and giving it to 1000 friends and they giving it to another 1000 is WRONG.. Its no different than stealing at a large scale. For all the debate here... the only thing i disagree with is the RIAA/MPAA saying pay up etc. People are due, due process.. as with handing over their ips. I think that isnt right as well. The Riaa/ mpaa should be forced to go to court like everyone else and subject to the laws.. But stealing is stealin so deal with it when companies use tactics to prvent it. |
