Airlines will win at FCC

The FCC is Republican controlled.
Massport is a sinkhole of Democratic patronage.
The airline appeal to FCC will be successful.
End of problem.

The politics are too amusing, and I'd suspect you're right. I think the FCC must take a good look at who needs the benefit most here. Airlines are sorely lacking in the profit department. If they're providing free WiFi for frequent fliers as an incentive to become one, doesn't it make sense to allow the airlines that business tool?

That...and the interference claims are bullshit. It's doubtful Logan will get too far on a lie.

When they do something you dont like, they MUST be democrats! Right?

I would believe a republican would support the apparent monopoly, especially one named "capitalist."

It's an inherently liberal business model to add regulatory measures. Since Logan Airport wants to institute measures to prevent free WiFi in favor of their own paid service, he therefore makes a safe assumption that the business is run as such (and he's probably correct).

This is basic Microeconomics.
