That'd be nice, but a)not *that* many people have PayPal accounts (there are a lot, but not enough to make it worthwhile), and b)charging that low a rate would be unprofitable for any wireless provider. Think: $12/day would be about $.50 an hour. Once you get that eaten up with PayPal/merchant account fees, you're talking a low return even before you factor in the overhead.

Last time I was in LAX though they did have kiosks where you could pay a couple of dollars for a 10-minute block, cash or charge. It was nice for checking hotel directions and e-mail before I caught my connection. Wireless I doubt they could make that cheap.
