Download = 1000kbps
Upload - NaN (Can't seem to do it)
Without Proxy
Download = 900kbps
Upload = 350kbps !!!
Firefox:
With Proxy
Download = 900kbps
Upload - NaN (Can't seem to do it)
Without Proxy
Download = 850kbps
Upload = 250kbps !!!

Without Proxy
Download = 840kbps

Firefox is only 55%-60% as fast as MSIE whether or not you use a proxy. And appears to be only capable of very slow uploads regardless of proxy too.
On the other hand. WIth proxy off MSIE can be 10% slower to download, but 50% faster to upload than Firefox using testmy.net, or if you believe speakeasy.net it's up to 10 times faster without the proxy! |
