Re: [Other] HKBN 2b PAP2 config I have problem connecting to 2b with Sipura SPA2002.
I can't register with the server.
The registration state is always "Not Registered".
I can get a dial tone if I change the LINE1>Proxy and Registration>Make Call Without Reg to "NO".
For proxy, I use s2hkbntel.net. For OB proxy, I use s21.hkbntel.net.
I did reset the SIP from the web, pa.2b.com.hk.
Same behavior...
Any one can help please? Thanks. ...... ..... |

| If you are behind a NATing firewall/router, then you might need to turn on STUN or setup portforwarding.
Look at »www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Sipu···+HKBN+2b for an example of the SPA's configuration.

 1 edit | Hello im_chandave,
Thanks for the reply.
I am behind a NATing firewall/router, and I did turn on STUN. Not sure about portforwarding.
Do you mean the port forwarding on the router? Or the SPA2002?
By the way, I can use the softphone without problem. Not even modifying any setting on my router.
Thanks. |

Make sure you don't have the softphone still running in the background of your computer. Check your taskbar. If you are sure the softphone is not running then reset your "2b" account and power-cycle your SPA.

 | Hi im_chandave,
I did turn on STUN so do I still need to configure the router to do port-forwarding? You said "You should do one or the other". So I guess it is not necessary to configure the router. Is it correct?
I did turn off the softphone while experimenting the SPA. I then reset my "2b" account and power-cycle my SPA.
I saw a lot of traffic between my SPA and the modem even I can't register. I guess if I can register, I should be able to use the phone, right?
Any other suggestion please?
Thanks in advance....
