Where the heck is T-Mobile in all these deals lately? I simply don't understand why they, the only major US carrier with no domestic wireline connections, continue to shun MVNO deals, co-branding, etc. like they do.

| t-mobile is smarter, instead of raking the people over the coals they are cutting costs to give customer better deals, I am liking t-mobile for doing this. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" |

FOR RELEASE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27, 1996
SAN DIEGO, Calif., (Editor's note: This release was issued by Sprint) -- Sprint PCS ushered in a new era of wireless communication today, announcing the launch of its PCS, or Personal Communication Services, for consumers and businesses in San Diego -- one of the first cities in the country to launch the Sprint PCS service.
"Cox Communications was one of only three companies -- and the only cable company -- to be awarded a "Pioneer's preference" license from the FCC by demonstrating its innovative approach integrating cable infrastructure with PCS networks." |

sprint is so far the best provider i have used and i have worked with every provider in the new england area. They just seem to work in all the areas others don't.
i think until we get some newer low cost solutions for equipment that they hang on the tower we won't see lower costs. Hopefully soon lucent brings out some cheaper gear soon. ericson equipment is just to expensive. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" |
