I know I am not answering your question, however there is a reciprocal tax agreement between Pennsylvania and New Jersey which allows for people who in one state but live in the other (except for those people living in NJ and working in Philadelphia) to pay their home state's tax. I worked in New Jersey for 2 years and only paid income taxes to Pennsylvania.
I know there is a similar agreement between New York and New Jersey but I am not sure of the specifics. -- Rove / Rumsfeld 2008! |
