Re: Credit Checks

Ever think they use a 3rd party company to do it?
I'll concede that that's possible, but I still have never seen any inquiries on my report that I couldn't point at and say "Oh, that was when I applied for such-and-such credit card or such-and-such loan."

They also can request a copy of your credit score without putting it on your credit report. They just pay more for it.
Got a source to back that up? The Fair Credit Reporting Act and my credit report both say you're wrong.

·WOW Internet and..

didn't say they were doing it. I said they could.

Not all companies comply with the fair debit reporting act and they can use any basically any source to gain information about you if its public information or pay to get it.

Its called common sense. Stay out of the radar get what you want. Pay another company to do it for you, get what you want. And you're credit report wouldnt show if they want your score. The credit report says who wanted the report. Score and Report are seperate. You can pay for one or the other or both.

That's not what you implied.

And now you're talking about something that's completely different.

I know they're separate, but they're both going to show up as an inquiry on my report. You've also failed to answer my question as to what your source is - simply citing "common sense" doesn't apply here.

This thread has jumped the shark, and it's clear you're just talking out of your ass. I'm done. Have a nice day.
