| OPtonline flirting with speed demons... my friend was online last night @ 3 am nonetheless...and he "accidentally" came across a 3MBPS speed loop for about 5 mins he said...that means the 15Mbps is in rapid test phase in NYC...im guessing OOL is testing their line and making sure that the old coaxials can handle the upgrade and are just making sure their network is stable enough..prob just being safe than sorry...and to restate what someone said earlier..since VZ FiOS isnt going to be in NYC anytime soon why should OOL be overly worried ??? Theyre going to play at the same speed as everyone else...most likely if they upgrade early then it might be sometime in april or may of next yr...my source in cablevision wont confirm but i have a feeling it might be April of 2006. |
