I don't know if the 95% is correct, but they are having major problems with their website and data bases.
I find my 3.0 service great and I can live with the speed as it is now. But it's still a shame that the rollout is not going very smoothly. And what's worse is that nobody at FastAccess can give any answers- other than "Wait".

Cant Even Get the 3.0 Service in My area (South Miami). I just got AtlanticBB and it is rocking at 4.9/300. My Ultra service gave me 900/220 I am calling and cancelling as i write this. |

such great flaming from someone that needs to remain anonymous and look at my profile to have a nice comeback plus not even spell my nick correctly.

you want facts, pretty simply, I have a biz account and i have a reliable account manager that will pass on information, Bellsouth's own ( tech support and sales) have admitted to technical difficulties on their DB side and will most like not process all of the orders due to ongoing problem.
But I did exagerate the number..
only 20% will probably get it tonight until they resolve the issue and then maybe when the issues are resolved then 95% of the 3.0 customers will be able to upgrade.. ( do you want me to quote the article that was released as well? they had a big financial discussiona about it)
To make it more intresting , probably a greater number won't be able to get it either because their own lines don't even qualify for the service since they are not close enough to the CO or Remote. And Bellsouth can't tell you if you don't qualify since their DB doesn't even work right!
anyhow enough of my ranting. |
