I just dialed 700-4141 and received my IntraLata info. The voice says I'm using SBC, or a reseller. Not sure how specific this will be if you are using a re-seller service.

Nearest large city meant use 312 for the entire Chicago area.

However now we use a Qwest reseller for all toll and that number does not work. I get the "Disconnected or no longer in service" number.

I asked the reseller about this and they assured me that I am using the reseller for both, and both services show up on my account statement. However I can't recall if I've even made an IntraLATA long distance call since I switched in September or October.

It just occurred to me that I accidentally dialed 1-414+351-xxxx a few days ago and the call went thru. Those calls used to go to intercept. I figured they just changed the switch translations to line up with typical cell phone and VoIP dialing patterns, but maybe that routed via Qwest.
