| AOL Bloatware I just got finished cleaning a machine owned by people that trust and love AOL faithfully. The computer was full of viruses, trojans, and malware. AOL was running so many bloatware programs as startup, the computer was rendered useless. The system was un patched, and not using any anti virus detection. There were three copies of AOL bloatware installed on this system, taking up most of the valuable hard disk space. It was horrible accessing Windows Update using IE, because AOL kept trying to load every five seconds. I hate AOL so much that from now on, I will charge more to clean a computer that is infected with AOL bloatware! AOL pushes so much misleading advertising and software on unsuspecting or un-knowledgeable customers, it's no wonder their machines lock up. |
