| sb5100 uncapping Well with the Sigma software you can change your config file (the configuration that sets your download and upload speed), your MAC address and your serial number. So if all these are changed you are basically unidentifiable and you wont waist your 60BG download limit if you change your MAC address (hopefully not to a residential MAC in which you will use someone elses limit). The only problem is the version now (X) does not support anything higher then DOCSIS 1.0, but now they are making version (X2) that will support DOCSIS 1.1 and 2.0. Hopefully it will be done in the next couple months. |
