| Just try to cancel AOL A few years back I tried to cancel my AOL trial membership, talked to 3 different people, all of them totally ignored my request. Every time I said "just cancel my account please", they would go about their crap of saying we can give you another month free. I ended up hanging up on all three getting nowhere, totally frustrated, and boy were they lucky I couldn't reach through my phone!!!! The next day I called again, got a nice lady that apologized for the behavior of the idiots the day before, she canceled my account with no problem. It still baffles me that a company would allow this to go on for so long and expect to keep customers. I would never go back to AOL even for a trial and I steer all my friends and family away from them. |
