| AOL has always been shady Back in the day when cable internet just got to my area I had AOL. I called to cancel them and goto cable, the phone rep told me his "computer was down" but he would cancel it as soon as it came back up. So I hung up and thought I smelled quite a bit of BS in his story, I waited a few days then called back to see if my account was cancelled, sure enough it wasn't. The rep I talked to laughed when I told him what happened and said "well that was an easy way to get out of it" Yeah, AOL is shady, I wouldnt do business with them again if my life depended on it. |
