Campus network uses two isp's... IP changing?

Hey guys, i've been searching the web for a loooooonnnggg time now to try and find an answer to my problem... but so far no luck. My Problem: The college i attend apparently uses two ISP's and pulls from either one at random times (not really sure how this works but w/e). My problem is that i am currently running a few counter-strike servers outside of the schools network (actually about 100 miles away) that i rent out to clients. I can connect to Steam but when i try to connect to the individual server i get an error. I have talked to the IT admins @ my school and they said it is most likely the dual ISP's and they are conflicting the steam authentication since it seems like i am playing from two computers. He mentioned possibly tunneling through ssh, which didnt work for me. Is there a way I can maintain an INDIVIDUAL IP? Or possibly specifying which ISP can connect to my computer? Any input would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

I would consider setting up a DNS2Go account or equiviant (no-ip.com) and have that be forwarded. Just be glad you can get out and GAME because 98% of all .EDU ISP's are full of moronic bastards that lock down their connections to the point that you want to go put a drill through your skull.

That seems like a really silly way to set it up, but, one suggestion would be a tunnel to the machine that hosts the servers, and connect via the tunnel.

Just tried the no-ip.com service and it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me , it was worth a shot though. I appreciate your input . As for the tunneling, do i have to set something up on the machine hosting the server, or can i just run software on my machine here at school and connect via a tunnel? Also, which software would you recommend to do this? Sorry for all the questions, it's just very frustrating! thankS!!!!!
