Having problem with Prolog.....

I've had their service for many years and subscribe to their platinum package (6MB d/l 586KB u/l) and I get a letter telling me I'm using too much bandwidth and may be required to upgrade to a commercial account if it doesn't stop. Now I admit I am a p2p junkie, but why sell me the bandwidth and then tell me I can't use it. I spend a lot of money for this.I don't know any other alternatives in Central PA. Short of only using my computer for web browsing, what are my options? Also are any services NOT asynchronous (not sure correct term)? In file sharing 6MB d/l is great but the u/l is terrible. Using p2p + xbox live + VoIP at the same time is really a struggle.
Ok, enough wining. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
