Try deleting the key again.

The ZLcommdb.xml in System32 is part of ZoneAlarm. A quick Google search did not help to much: »www.google.com/search?q=ZLcommdb.xml .

If you dont know what this means it is best to hire somebody to help you fix the problem. There is nothing wrong with the program. It is a great program. The problem is most likely with the state of your computer. Dont count on CA for help. That is one of their few glaring weaknesses-- no support. CA is giving me the runaround on this matter. They keep asking me for information I have already given them, never the solution to this buggy program.

My advice would be-
1. do a _thorough_ manual uninstallation ***
2. defrag your hd
3. run ccleaner
4. go get a new setup file (i recommend EZ AV 2005 only)
5. reinstall

BTW EZ Armor has been discontinued/replaced with the eTrust Internet Security Suite; EZ Armor not shown on eTrust's products page:

I would recommend that you contact CA/eTrust support to see about updating from EZ Armor to eTrust Internet Security Suite which has the more stable re-badged version of ZA Pro 5.5.x.

If you still have problems uninstalling EZ Armor and CA/eTrust support continues to be of no help ...
First search CA/eTrust support's on-line "Knowledge Base".
If that still does not help, below are links on how to do a "clean" uninstall of ZoneAlarm -- steps should be similar for uninstalling the eTrust's re-badged version of ZA Pro:
