i agree with most of the comments above...watching a full lenght movie on a tiny screen is no fun..as for the nextel radio feature..that has got to be one of the most annoying things on this planet..if your not a construction worker or such do you really need..brrrreep..hi...brrreeep..hello..ect ect..i see people doing that in the mall and i know there starving for attention..just my two and 1/2 cents

I disagree with this point. I don't have Nextel but am considering getting it. I can see many uses for that walkie-talkie feature. It's great for a couple to stay in touch while separated (at a large store, on our 2.5 acre property, if I'm away on a trip). I would also like to have them at work. We currently all carry bulky Motorola radios and these Nextel phones would be a perfect replacement and the walkie-talkie feature would be an inexpensive substitute. Sorry for the OT comment.

it's not a true walk-ie talkie..

It has to go to the tower before it can go to another handset.

( phat chance using this in Walmart / home-depot.
The Newer larger facilities design appears to block signal most times. I can be in isle one on the wall and get a signal as soon as i hit isle 2 I'm dead in the water.

Case in point keep that little (separate) walk-ie talkie.

Certain phones do have an off network walkie talkie feature but this is used only when the normal network is out of range (like a far off construction site.)

As for the feature when used on the network, I have seen it have a maybe 1-2 second delay.
