850 MHz + 1900 MHz carriers' EVDO

I used an HP for a few months and appreciated the ergonomic considerations above those of Dell and Toshiba, so I am really excited about the addition of EVDO to the existing integrated WiFi.

HP - please use a dual frequency EVDO module for the inclusion of 1900 MHz EVDO as well as your 850 MHz EVDO.

The 850 MHz will enable all the rural cellular CDMA operators' customers to use the integrated EVDO, too, so this is not just about Verizon. In fact, this is not just about the USA! CDMA 850 MHz already exists throughout South American and Caribbean Nations. Many will be adding EVDO within the next year. EVDO is the most efficient means of providing Internet to rural customers, as the antennae and base station sites are already there.

The addition of 1900 MHz would open the door for Sprint, Cricket, and other 1900 MHz operators' customers.

Integrated EVDO may not mean much to folks willing to seek out the nearest Panera for free WiFi, but for those of us who are on the road for work, EVDO is the best thing since the notebook 'puter.
