big difference b/w a game's code being done and the game going gold. the code is completed, but they still need to balance the MP, fix bugs, get the videos, etc before the game goes gold, which takes another 3 weeks to a 3 months for the publisher to get the games on shelves. they'll probably run a closed beta of some sort for 2-3 months while fixing the bugs

The final build contains the full storyline, quests, 20 levels and all of the features. The only thing missing are the videos, but they will be made by THQ.
