I have the Comcast PVR Box and it skips nothing....you can fast forward through the commmercials but you cannot skip them. Unless of course you are talking about a TiVo Solution but your post is not clear on that point. The Dct 6412 remote can be programmed with a 30 sec skip and using macros multiple 30 sec skips. I go thru 3 or 4 min commercial breaks in a couple secs.
