DirecTV has indicated for over a year that when the MPEG4 capability necessitates a receiver/dish replacement, it will be a no-charge swap. Presuming that this is still true, do I own the new MPEG4 capable HD receiver, since it was a swap for the old one I owned? Or does DirecTV own it? -- "Q: When will it be done? A: When pigs fly! "

After 3/1 it will be theirs and they will probably let you keep your owned equipment.
