1 edit | full speed I wish sbc/at&t would give you the full speed like Ameritech used to. With pppoe and overhead you dont get close to the advertised speeds. They should do like comcast and up the sync rate so you get the full advertised speed. |

| im supposed to get 3/384, and i get 3/512 all day long...i can download well over 300k and upload at almost 60k..and i never get capped no matter how much i use and whenever i use it  ive used over a terabyte of up/down through BT over the last 5 months... |

| 3008kbits/8 = 376KBytes. Now, there IS some tcp/ip overhead, but, still, you should be getting more than 300KB/s. |

Thats exactly what all my friends get. I have 6mbit/384kbit with Comcast and actually get 6 or 6.1 mbit due to the speeds being at like 6.8mbit to allow for overhead. |

How is it possible that ya upload 60k when ya cap is 512k??? I be lucky to get 51k, I get only 50k on 512k. |
