| University bandwidth or a problem on my end? I just got back to my dorm and well lets just say I'm not getting the speeds I was last sesmester. Here are my currect speeds:
Your download speed : 122 kbps or 15.2 KB/sec.
Your upload speed : 5599 kbps or 699.8 KB/sec.
Last sesmester my upload and download speeds were both in the range of 500-750 KB/sec for up and down. Now usually when the university does something to the network and will send out a nice e-mail stating why and what the changes were, but I didn't get any emails. Are there any tests I can preform to make sure that its not my computer causing the problem? I wrote and email to the helpdesk but they are closed today. |
