AnimeSonic : I am on a edu LAN and I can connect to hubs actively using any port, but the download speed it GREATLY ruduced to only 0.5 Kb/s ! When I go passive, I can download just fine. When I am active I can search, and I get more results, but the speed is killing me.

Do you know what is going on here, or what I can check on my netowrk to see how I can get around this?
