AOL Price Going Up

anon : As crazy as it sounds, they are actually going to increase the price of their $23.90 and $4.95 Price Plans. The increase will be $2 to $25.90 and $6.95. Why? Because they are losing money because of bundles with other companies and everyone well knowing of the cheaper rates.

The minor plus side to all of this? New bundles with Charter and Qwest. Charter's lowest tier (384/384) will be $25.90, Qwest I'm not 100% sure since things changed at the last minute but I think its like $28.90

Verizon bundles, TWC bundles, etc...if ordered after February 1st are going up also to the new $25.90. But if you already have the service, I dont think it will increase as far as I know.

This all will be sent to approx 70% of the members on February 1st and take affect around March 1 (or next billing date after Fed 1st).

So..if you know anyone paying $23.90 or $4.95, be ready for that jump unfortunately
