I gotta tell ya - terrestrial radio in San Antonio at least, sucks rancid swamp water.

Do yourself a favor - get satellite. You'll never look back.

I didn't listen to it per se but rather had it on a radio button for traffic. Sometime before Christmas they apparently fired everyone and started Christmas music 24/7...

Stations come and go but this surprised me - I thought they had a fairly strong position in the Austin market in a good demographic. Who knows? It's hard to see them getting a better story for give advertisers.

Unfortunately with commercial radio they will change formats/fire everyone no matter how well they are doing.

I've always thought it is a different kind of station that aspires to a different set of values. A station that offers a positive music alternative to the kinds of music you hear everywhere else.

Yeah 102.7 in San Antonio went to Jacked FM or some crap. Nothing like cramming 25 yrs of shitty music into one station.
