| When funds start to dry up; sayanora baby Ambient is in deep trouble when they have to fight for enough money to stay around for another 5 months. Other BPL providers are starting to have some success and are getting clients on board. And Earthlink, who is working with quite a few of them, isn't going to worry anymore about whether Ambient is going to make it.
And Motorola seems to have come up with a technology that doesn't interfere with ham radio. Ambient is still battling that with their offering.
Will Ambient be around this time next year? I wouldn't bet on it.
