2wire internal 500 error

We are running a 2wire 1000HG with SBC DSL as a hotspot for our company. Unfortunately we've been having a lot of troubles with the router. I finally got the go ahead to attempt a troubleshooting process, however I can't seem to even login to the router. It keeps giving me a 500 internal error. Any thoughts? Cheers.

Is this error coming from one client alone or multiple client computers?

When you say you are having trouble specifically what type of difficulty?

What is the light status when this difficulty occurs?

I would suggest updating the java on the client you are using as a first step.

I have tried logging into the router from several different client computers and come up with the same error. The difficulties we have been having include random down times and sporadic connections. For instance we'll have half the people in our cafe able to connect, but the other half not. I'll try updating the java, but again, I get the same error from any computer. Thanks for the quick reply.

Edit: I just updated the Java as suggested and still have the same issues.

MVM,

Did someone open up a huge number of ports through the firewall?

Well, this will be the first time I'm allowed inside the router, so I don't know what ports are opened.

No, actually that does not fix it. I originally started with Firefox.
