Re: Translation Not true. The problem for cable providers is the upstream on their HFC systems. Bandwidth in the upstream direction is limited by bandwidth in the frequencies necessary to ensure reliable communication from the low powered cable modem to the node.
Jason also revealed that once they have upgraded OS's for their CMTS plant (the nodes to which each customers coax is connected) they will be able to control based upon the load on the CMTS.
