A TRULY smart oven would have to have an intelligent senses of sight and smellÑand be able to adjust the temperature if the roast is browning to quickly or the center of the casserole is still frozen. Do they have a webcam that can tolerate 450¼F? I doubt there's anything near term likely to duplicate a cook's best skill-knowing how something in the oven is *supposed* to smell.
Gotta admit, though, it sure would be fun to mess with the meals of anyone gullible enough to plunk down the dough for one... |
