Usage - legal or not - is not our concern here

There are far too many people sniping at each other over how their bandwidth is used.

These potshots are not acceptable. How the service is being used is between the user and WildBlue - NOT between any of us and the user.

If you have a complaint about WildBlue service being used illegally, then your complaint should be directed at WildBlue, not at other users at DSL Reports. Just remember that in making your complaint, there are many ways to legally use bandwidth. Just because somebody chooses to use their connection differently than you do does not mean it's wrong.

If you have complaints about the service being misused to the detriment of your service, then the complaint again should be made to WildBlue.

It is valid to educate a new user about how FAP works - it is neither valid (nor helpful) to toss around such terms as "bandwidth hog". Judging people in this forum is not acceptable.
