If you don't follow the driving rules, how long would you last as a motorist? An accident would likely stop you before a patrolman. Not all rules are bad.
But driving (while I understand the metaphor) is nothing like living life and surviving in society. Nor is a accident the same thing as losing your job or source of income, or, being convicted of a crime, or5, haveing a massive judgement laid against you, thereby destroying your life.
