I think if anything happens to be copyrighted it is much safer that way than to use Kazaa, Limewire, Morpheus or any other open client. The letters are usually warnings telling you to stop sharing their copyrighted materials, and to delete it, if i'm not mistaken.

BTW, you should treat all torrents (except legal torrents like Linux distros) like "traps" because BT forces you to upload, and it's that act of sharing copyrighted materials which gets you in hot water.
