Re: Speedstream 4060 works in Windows XP Pro? Hey Ogrt. I tried seeing if the same thing you did for Ameritech would work for my Bellsouth Fast Access Account. I think technically it should have worked. The only thing that didn't work I guess is that after I plugged in the wires for the modem, the light never turned green. It stayed orange. I continued thinking that maybe it would work after a reboot. But it didn't.
Also the auto config wizard never came up after the setup wizard finished. I created a new account, but when I right clicked the ATM connection and went into properties, there didn't seem to be anything that said Efficient Networks RFC 1483 Intermediate Driver. Plus i couldn't disable or enable the ATM. What did I do wrong. I'm getting annoyed at bellsouth for not supporting XP!!! |
