Re: if that's plenty... Because Japan, Korea and most Asian countries (except China) are vastly smaller in both size and population. Therefore, it is very easy to wire a small country with 20 million people than a huge country with 300 million.
I will however admit that the current regulatory environment doesn't exactly promote greater broadband expansion.
