| Scratches I am truly amazed at all of the scratching issues that people are having with their iPods. I have a number of iPods, from 1G through 5G. The early versions (my 1G and 2G), never had a case to protect them at all. I have used these iPods a lot. They have minor scratches, but still look very nice. My newer iPods, I left the plastic protector that the iPod was wrapped in, in-place over just the screen. Not one scratch. I wonder what people are doing to their iPods.
Oh well, I will buy this new iPod when it is released. -- Lean to the left. Lean to the right. Repeat. Now that is wobbling |

I use it mainly in the car (with the raidio transmitor) and the ONLY time I take it out is to glance at the screen then it gets slid right back in. Never been dropped, never been handled by people with long fingernails.
And yet, COVERED IN SCRATCHES. You know when I first got it and it had ZERO scratches...I put it directly into the included white case and when I pulled it out, I already had 3 scratches. And no, no foreign debris got stuck in there with it...the included soft case started the scratching process right away.
Its rediculous. I hope they have some new super anti-scratch coating prepared for when (if) this new one comes out. |
