The Earthlink VoIP plus 8Mbit offer (available in a few metro areas) for $70 looks pretty sweet, comparatively speaking.]]></description>

I literally have dial tone <B>ONLY</B>. 10 cents per minute for <B>LOCAL</B>, plus a varying LD rate. The worst part is that I only have this landline as a backup in case the power goes out (or 911 is needed), it has never once even had a call placed on it. <br><SMALL>--<br><B>Now THATS superfluous!!</B></SMALL>]]></description>
