ZoneAlarm security settings

I'm looking to tweak my @home cable access and I realize I need to take down ZoneAlarm to run the tests from DSLR. My question is, does anybody know if there is a setting in ZoneAlarm that will allow certain IP addresses to access my computer while blocking all others? You know, to let diagnostics sites through, and nothing else?

I'm also going to post this in "Tweaks."

Double Click the ZA icon. Security tab - Advanced button - Add button - IP address.

Add 209.191.132.40 - description is east coast server (ny-monitor.dslreports.com)

Also Add 216.200.176.6 - description is the west coast server (dslreports.megapath.net)

Apply those, and go back to the security tab, set the Local Zone to medium.

Edited to change the IP address for the East coat Server. The server now has a new name and IP address--WCB!!

I simply take my ZA down to Medium Security when running tests from DSLR. Might not be the absolute safest method, but it's quick and easy.

You only have to do that way once.

You don't need it for any speed tests, because you don't need to be pinged.

Thank you all for your input. I've added the IP addresses in ZA and hopefully will be fine now.
