Try this higher end ports

i just recently heard about the whole port 1720 thing but when i tried it it just sucked ass lol but anyways ive been getting a steady 100-200kb which is more than enough i think for any torrent :P i use to have problems when i port forwarded the lower end ports so i started using 30 000 and higher. I dont think rogers has done anything about the higher end ports grant you you wont go as fast as 1720 did but its a big jump up from the 20kb on port 1720 lol

Hey thanks for letting me know. I've been trying different ports. Some ports unused, and some others used for VOIP, but none of them were getting anywhere good. I tried 30000 and it's going at an alright d/l speed of 100kb/s connected to 31 seeds and 19 leechers. It took it a while to get going tho, I guess it's kindda expected with torrents. But atleast I'm able to start downloading again. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sincerly,

Freaking hell... port 30000 only worked for me for one night! The next day when I tried to download again, the speeds would only spike up to 30 kb/s every few minuets or so. And then my router would crash. This is ridiculous. Any more suggestions guys?
