This might be attributable to the fact that it is a NEW ADAPTER and they are working out KINKS but the AC-211 has better quality STILL and they fixed it quickly. Innomedia seems to have nuances or problems with certain routers also, since it does NOT get along with them so I VOTE:

We suspected the problem existed when it first showed up. I wasn't here but it was first hooked up behind an older linksys router that had almost the same IP programmed into it. My nephew connected a computer behind it and when attempting to log into the router ended up on the /user?/ innomedia screen that didn't need authorization. Go figure. :uhh:
Only seems to happen in that config. with that router??? It's not well. :(
I went through it for an hour last night with Level2 and the best that the sip server could get was the MAC ID but there are suppose to be extra digits???
They are suppose to call back tonight but I'm not holding my breath. I did request the AC-211. I seem to have better luck with them.

The luck of the draw! I got the one out of 200 that is Bad out of the box. :hmm: Any more trouble and I'll just cancel the account.

Anyone want to bid on a snapfooed innomedia? :D

It may be easier for you to see what is going wrong, rather
than spend hours with SR support. Capture the traffic with
e.g. Ethereal and see if a good REGISTER request is going
out and what response, if any is coming back. Or, try a
few simple things first such as connecting the InnoMedia
without any intervening NAT or firewall devices, or seeing
if the affected account will work with an AC-211 (or some
other device).

the trouble when the InnoMedia was behind his Dlink router.

Out of 8 AC-211, my first was bad and it took 4 months to get it replaced. The others worked from the get-go without any issues that I couldn't fix with help from members here. ;)

I did learn that if you have issues with SR, (many tickets and time spent) ordering a new account (wiping the slate clean) seems to be the permanent fix. ;)

One Innomedia. Doesn't connect properly with sip server and has cost hours of Level3 support with no fix to date. They are talking about replacing w/ac-211 but I think the account will still be plagued?
I have not yet had a working innomedia to test on.
