AOL Email Tax

what about us small fries? We send approx 1000 emails a month to AOL users and am currently in their bulk mail white list.. Are we suppose to pony up all this cash to send our messages (100% user op-in, service related [forum, etc..] email) and if we don't make any money doing this site, whaere is this payment gonna come from anf if we can't or won't pay, what happens to our previously OK email.
