I would first install the display drivers, and then the WDM drivers. What I needed to do was install the display drivers, reboot, install the WDM drivers, and then reboot. Now it is all well. Though my channels are no longer displaying without lots of fuzz. I'm working on that.
--
"Padre, nobody said war was fun now bowl!" - Sherman T Potter
»www.cafepress.com/maxolasersquad
»maxolasersquad.com/
»maxolasersquad.com/network/ My DSL Network Guide
»myspace.com/mlsquad

Maxo : Well, the first thing I did was I went to the website and got the most recent drivers from »https://support.ati.com/ics/support/defa···erID=293
And then I downloaded the latest version of of multimedia center. That only enabled the video drivers to work, but not the tv tuner drivers. So then I put in the CD and ran through that and then everything was installed and I could watch TV. I downloaded just the drivers again and installed them, using both the setup.exe and by pointing Device Manager to the extracted folder (I tried both of these ways separately), but each time when I updated just the video drivers to the latest, it removed the tv tuner drivers. I am currently running the old drivers on the latest version of mmc. It all works, and if I can't get the latest video drivers to work that's fine. But if possible, I'd like to have the latest drivers just to make sure everything is running the best as possible.
Nightwing , I have .NET 2.0 installed because I'm also taking a Visual Basic .NET class. I also tried the .NET download from the website just to make sure.
Smoove910 , I'll look into the Omega Drivers.

Maxo : I just reinstalled my OS. I am trying to get the latest drivers for my ATI card. When I install the drivers off the CD everything goes through fine. I went to the ATI website to get the latest drivers and software and that doesn't work so well. It removes the TV Tuner drivers. My choices seem to be the old drivers with everything working, or the new drivers with the TV Tuner not working. I would like to have my cake and eat it too. I want to the new drivers and everything working. When I update the drivers and it removes the TV drivers I try to install the drivers by pointing it to the CD but it says it doesn't find any drivers. Any ideas?
--
"Padre, nobody said war was fun now bowl!" - Sherman T Potter
»www.cafepress.com/maxolasersquad
»maxolasersquad.com/
»maxolasersquad.com/network/ My DSL Network Guide
»myspace.com/mlsquad
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">

With latest drivers

With drivers from the CD.
