 | reply to sluggo69 Yes true, and many insurance companies also recognize the car OWNER as negligent and/or responsible if their car is stolen with the doors unlocked and the keys in it. It is still stealing, yes. BUT YOUR A PARTY TO THE THEFT if you are sitting their inviting it.
basically if you don't want people stealing your stuff (ie. your car, radio waves, lawn clippings, or empty garbage can space) you secure it. Ideology may tell us: its wrong to steal. Laws may tell me: this is stealing, and that is only borrowing.
BUT REALITY tells me lock my s**t up!
