While their privacy policies aren't the best they aren't the worst either. I can see them scanning file types and names and then offering ads on whatever type of application that is used to access those files. However, if this does come to fruition I think they would allow users to map their GDrive bypassing all of those ads. (Much as you can use POP3 with gmail and see no ads.) Was exactly my first thught. Except my thought wasn't ads, but the scanning of all your files to extract any information that might be useful for thier marketing purposes or to extract and sell to anyone that wants to ante up.
