Every once in a while, my good friends and I start lagging in WoW. We know it isn't our connections (COX, Adelphia, and RoadRunner) so we run a tracert to us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com and notice that as soon as it hits the FIRST AT&T server on the way latency usually makes a nice 500+ ms jump when problems are occuring. Keep in mind myself and most of my friends are in So. Cal. so there should be no distance issues. (Blizzard is in Irvine.)
