Re: Quality vs. Cost

How much should we expect a person to pay for a T1 line now?

Maybe 400-500. Why?

Re: Quality vs. Cost

Because I have a business that currently pays 1800 for two bonded Ts with a cisco router (considered it a lease) for the gateway. The contract ends next February and the Bellsouth Rep wants me to sign a new contract for $1300 for two bonded Ts. What do you think of this?

It depends if you’re just talking about a point-to-point T1 or if you’re getting internet access on them. In our area they're around $300-400 for point-to-point and about $700 if you’re getting internet access (this is an SBC/AT&T area). Your $1300 sounds about normal for 2 with internet and a SLA.
